Brett Parbery was raised on a cattle property in the mountainous district of Dorrigo, in Northern NSW. He was raised within a professional training stable producing horses for western sports such as cutting, campdrafting and rodeo. After a fruitful career in the western sports, Brett decided to search for new challenges within the equine industry. Having always been fascinated with theequestrian sports, Brett decided to try his hand at the most complex of them all, Dressage.
Having enjoyed a variety of disciplines through pony club, Mel ventured into the sport of Dressage with her now retired FEI horse Luke. After leaving school Mel studied Graphic Design, while attaining her NCAS EA General Level 1 Coach. Mel is now trying to balance her riding, coaching and motherhood with a little design work on the side.
'Cedar Lodge' Penrose.
'Cedar Lodge' is situated in Penrose, in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW 11/2 hours south of Sydney. The equestrian complex consists of a standard size Indoor dressage arena with a soiltex fabric surface, an outdoor dressage arena, and a large grass show jumping arena complete with a full show jump course, cavelletis and poles. We have 15 stables with walk in walk out day yards attached and timber post and rail paddocks to ensure the greatest care of our horses. Our aim is to create a horse friendly, safe environment where our horses care and management as well as their training and fitness is of utmost importance. We feel this has been created in the tranquil location of Penrose and we are constantly improving the property every year.
We primarily focus on training and competing dressage horses for ourselves and a select group of supportive owners, as well as providing dressage coaching from our home base in Penrose, Nationally and Internationally.
